ARRI 72' Thunderbird

I bought this used kit off Ebay, and I was happy to get it as they are quite rare.

When I got it I noticed many differences between the model and images of the real car.

I started working on it in May this year, and since then all sections of the body have been extensively altered in some way.

Next job is creating a radiator support panel and firewall.

This is still very much a work in progress...... I will update the photo's as I go along.

Definitely some major surgery there! Is the kit body really that bad...... I was thinking of getting one to add to my Thunderbird collection....... but not sure I want to spend all that time modifying the body.

Looks like you're doing a great job..... keep the pics and WIP descriptions coming.
