PatW Posted May 9, 2024 Posted May 9, 2024 Thanks Carl.I understand that it has a slightly bent windscreen frame on one side, hence a price reduction. Nothing that can't be sorted with some warm water!
Ace-Garageguy Posted May 9, 2024 Posted May 9, 2024 Pretty decent deal on this set of water-soluble "earth" colors. Though they're marketed to train guys for landscaping, they work well for weathering plastic models too. 5
Brandon17 Posted May 10, 2024 Posted May 10, 2024 Picked this up from eBay and it came in yesterday $30 shipped. Gonna use it to build Al Segrini’s Super Brut funnycar. 2
ChrisBcritter Posted May 10, 2024 Posted May 10, 2024 Watched about 30 seconds of hpiguy's video and sent my order in a few minutes ago: 2
stitchdup Posted May 10, 2024 Posted May 10, 2024 My icm model a arrived this morning. I've added some comparison pics with the monogram coupe to the icm thread
kelson Posted May 10, 2024 Posted May 10, 2024 These came in the mail yesterday,i normally don't buy bundles of kits, but the price was cheap.?♂️ 4
Mr mopar Posted May 10, 2024 Posted May 10, 2024 Mail call today and yesterday and some good stuff from iceman 3D enjoy ! 3
Ace-Garageguy Posted May 10, 2024 Posted May 10, 2024 (edited) I came across 5 of these at prices I never thought I'd see again, so I bought 'em all. Each one contains the very nice Corvair/Chrysler Firepower Hemi engine parts-pack tree, the equally nice SBC Chevy/Pontiac engine parts-pack tree, plus the chrome bumpers-and-grilles tree...and one of 'em had an extra Chevy/Poncho tree. Snagged one of these too, at a low low price. This is exactly the same kit that comes in the pretty box. Edited May 10, 2024 by Ace-Garageguy TYPO 6

A modeler named mike Posted May 11, 2024 Posted May 11, 2024 From today's MAMA show... I went with a want list but unfortunately much of it wasn't present...? but a lot of "Nice" looking models were on the tables. Very talented bunch of individuals, some who grace this forum. This show was kinda neat for me since I was able to introduce a closet modeler/ ex-coworker to his first model car show experience. Diagnosis...He's Hooked!! Me? I can't wait to get back into building again since a very long pause due to life's curves... 4
kelson Posted May 11, 2024 Posted May 11, 2024 These arrived late afternoon yesterday, again a great price for the whole bundle. 4

Bill Eh? Posted May 12, 2024 Posted May 12, 2024 My kidney creating a "rock band" in early April ruled out the NNL East for me this year. However, on the 27th a group of us met up at our favourite LHS Dailey Hobbies. I had to buy a kit to make up for my lack of purchases at NNL and picked up the Revell Bronco half cab with trailer and dune buggy. I also took delivery of some kits purchased from a good friend to help contibute finances to his annual Wonderfest trip. This past week I received a package from my favourite plastic pusher in London. 4
Spottedlaurel Posted May 12, 2024 Posted May 12, 2024 Picked this batch of built Tamiya kits at a 1:1 car show and autojumble yesterday: Have no idea what I'm going to do with them, but it seemed a shame to let them continue to get carted around and sustain damage and loss until they were no good to anybody. Maybe restore one or two and use the others as basis for hi-po road cars? 4

Karl LaFong Posted May 12, 2024 Posted May 12, 2024 I picked up an amazingly intact AMT 1960 Thunderbird at yesterday's MAMAs contest; the only parts missing only the side pipes and fender ornaments. The paint is brushed on enamel, so a soak in the purple pond should take care of it. The chrome is in good condition, about the only unusable parts are warped tires (luckily, the current AMT whitewalls fit perfectly). 5
Straightliner59 Posted May 14, 2024 Posted May 14, 2024 (edited) I've been wanting a different airbrush than my Badger 100G, so I'd have something with greater capacity. Got a great deal on this on Ebay. Right at $50, shipped. Works perfectly! Edited May 14, 2024 by Straightliner59 4
A modeler named mike Posted May 14, 2024 Posted May 14, 2024 Just found an AMT sunbeam grille on eBay with some extra parts not needed from a kit. I had purchased a sealed kit awhile back and it was missing only the grille from the sealed chrome parts tree. Anyone looking for any of the parts pictured let me know as I said I only need the chrome grille..
