A modeler named mike
This kit supposedly arrived last week at my address. I thought the package was a little heavy and upon opening it I saw why. The seller had mistakingly switched shipping labels on my package and another package that he was sending out. I opted to volunteer to drive to the location where my kit was and exchange them in person. A nice 421 mile scenic round trip drive that I must say I throughly enjoyed. Not sure this particular kit was worth it but I needed the me time away from the riggers of daily life.
Dragonhawk1066
My Hobbylinc and Amazon orders arrived last week. They were all supposed to be from Hobbylinc, but the Revell '66 GTO was out of stock upon picking my order. I ended up having to get it at Amazon for a couple of bucks more since that one was the main topic of my purchase in the first place, lol. The two GTO's were my top priorities, and I'm very psyched about my first Tamiya kit!

stitchdup
went to the local record shop today and helped with their model stuff order again. most of the last stuff i asked for was sold before i even saw it so their happy for me to help out. i put more primers, paints and other accoutrements and their going to be getting nunu now too so i ordered another 2001 e46. since i was in the shop i bought a tamiya alpine intending to use it as a donor for one of my dauphines but its too nice for that so i'll build it like a cal bug. it was half the price folk on ebay want for them Edited August 22 by stitchdup

1959scudetto
Not necessarily a model car item, but nevertheless very helpful and : I've been waiting for almost 2 years for the release of this book which always seems to have been postponed a few months more (finally brought today by the postman): Edited August 24 by 1959scudetto

Tabbysdaddy
I've been eyeing the Olds for a while, since it's Hobby Lobby I figured they would have them practically forever so I finally got it. The trailer I hadn't seen before and had to have it. Must be a new to them item. Funny thing, they don't have any 1/32 semis to go with it. Luckily I do.

CabDriver
After checking the local Hobby Lobby five or six times (good thing it’s on my route home from work…) finally managed to grab one of these: Plus, a cool little illuminated sign for the shop:

Curtis, the Monogram "Black Rat" '65 Vette has the exact engine and chassis from that kit. The later '65s still have the chassis but, IIRC, the engine is more "stock" looking. I'd also look at their '78 Vettes. IIRC, also the same chassis or at least very very similar. The hood might even fit with a bit of trimming. 2
CabDriver
Couple of swap meet finds today… Buck fifty for this slammer - always wanted one of these but had never picked one up… And double the price for this sad Prowler…I already have one, and it’s not even really something I want multiples of, but for $3 I’ll find something to do with it…

I have never seen it either, but I too have a tractor in need of a trailer. Looks like a a nicely detailed kit…
