For the last couple of years I've been collecting my "HOLY GRAILS".

This year has been by far the best finding the bulk of what I've been searching for :D .

Most of the kits have been vintage Porsches, Ferrari's and Mercedes, with a smattering of a few others tossed in for good measure :D .

These are the last two on my list.

Both are Fujimi kits. The Ferrari is a re-packaged Fujimi kit by Italeri.

The Porsche has 210 pieces, and the Ferrari has 230 pieces.

I don't h ave any pics right now i'm at work , ! But this week Steve Doing, and Dave Zinn both sent me a package full of wanted items !

Steve sent me 5 sets of Lowrider battiers and a front and rear drive train set up from a Buick G/N !

And today Dave sent me a Brand new Donk Caddy , full 63 impala interior unit , and Buick G/N body , chassie and enough parts to build the complete out sides of the G/N ! Bouns to me was that in my Monte SS and Buick G/N parts box i came up with enough items to only be missing the front windsheild to make a complete buildable kit ! THANKS DAVE !

Dave and Steve thank you guys dearly for answering my wanted ad's ! Dave I'll ship your package when i get home from work on Tuesday afternoon! :D

Bought 2 diecast today. Well picked out 2 diecast today, boy I like birthdays, 2 Motormax Law Enforcement and Public service 1/24th scale diecast models

Sorry for the pictures from the web but my camera died a horrible death yesterday

first being the Motormax 1986 Dodge Diplomat Sheriff's car ( not happy with the lack of detail on chassis and under the hood also there ain't no police radio)

second is a Motormax 1993 Chevy Caprice Border patrol car (very happy with the detail of this car, right down to the LS1 engine)

it looks like this but the center caps are painted full

Revell/ Monogram ! In their lowrider series they have offered a few styles ! The style i got pic is from the 60 impala , the next best lookin set is in the lowrider elcomino ! Its a stright line set up and the 63 impala has a 3 battery set , the 64 impala has a differnt 3 battery set up and the Lowrider Cadillac has differnt 3 battery aswhile , which with all 3 of them adding up to 6 batteriers that set on each side of the trunk area ! By far the best detailed are the 60's and the elco !

Have you opened up your kit yet ? Do they come with the soilders still and if so how many

Nick, that '93 Chevy would have an LT-1, not an LS-1 :P the Diplomat's have been shown on here before and look like pretty nice models, especially for cheap diecasts.

Dave

Dave thanks for the correction, I knew it had a "L" and 1 in it but wasn't sure if it was "T" or "S", I like them and they were worth what I didn't pay for them. 1 thing about the Diplomat is that there's no radio or chassis detail at all other than incorrect exuast, also the hubcaps are painted wrong from the factory. But I can fix all of these problems accept the chassis detail problem. B)

Two figures that are the same old ones. The skulls are cool to have. One driver head with german WWII helmet and the other one with a german commander's cap.

The shovel that is included in this kit is way out of scale (too little). I was hoping they would make it 1/24

This post provides good sprue shots of the whole kit.

Thanks for the info on the truck set ups!
