...gonna take a while to figure all this out

this is a fotki pic of my car if it shows up. ...or do I add pics by 'attachments'?

Hopefully this will be a successful link to about 600 photos of the event.

Russ, fixed! To add pictures click the little picture icon in the button bar above the text box. (this is while posting) That will insert a start tag. Then insert, paste or type the address to the photo, then click the "Insert Image" again to provide a close tag. No spaces!

Just hover your mouse pointer over the buttons and a clue will pop up to tell you which one is the Insert Image button.
