Cummins engine type in the Freighliner COE kit

Hey Guys,

I'm working on the reissued AMT White-Freightliner SD kit and need a little info. What model of Cummins engine is included in the kit? Gonna do a Google search to find references for detail painting. Thanks in advance.

PS-Nice to find a forum for truck modeling that's devoted to primarily big trucks and not pimped out Hummers, Escalades, and Ford Rangers.

Albert, If the engine has a turbocharger, it is an NTC-350. if not turbocharged, it's probably an NHC-250. Either will be Cummins Biege color.

Here's a good place to look at them. There is an NHC also, if you type in NHC-250, it is painted in military green.

Thanks for the info Dan, just what I was looking for. The Freightliner kit has the non-turbocharged version. Onward to Google.
