topher5150 Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 So as a Christmas gift from my Grand parents I got the Blue Revell Shelby G.T. 350R from Revell's Street Burner series. I'll get some pics tonight or tomorrow.
topher5150 Posted December 3, 2012 Author Posted December 3, 2012 does any one have any good ref pics for this car
bogger44 Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 I'm sure others probably have better, but I have this link. Good shots of the engine bay and interior. http://www.colinsclassicauto.com/detail.php?car=336

topher5150 Posted December 4, 2012 Author Posted December 4, 2012 Being this is an "R" Shelby the batter belongs in the trunk I didn't like how the oil pan turned out from the kit so I filled in the gaps and I'm going to paint it grey
topher5150 Posted December 10, 2012 Author Posted December 10, 2012 Made some progress this weekend, this is my first airbrush job and I don't think I'll ever use spray paint again.
Dirkpitt289 Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 Nice work so far, Curious how you made the trunk area
topher5150 Posted December 10, 2012 Author Posted December 10, 2012 Nice work so far, Curious how you made the trunk area I filled in the open area of the gas tank with some plastic and putty and the battery I cut out from the engine bay and put it in the trunk. I took a cap from mags on the Big Deuce and put a quick fill gas cap in it.
freakshow12 Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 the fuel tank on the r was actually two bottom sections put together thats why it looks upside down
