Scale-Master Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 Finally done. A finicky and fiddly kit with more than a couple quirks, and instructions that are only rivaled by old Pocher kits. Being so small did not help... WIP:http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=67204
acmiaz Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Very nice job! Difficult car to pull off. What did you use for the chrome mylar body panels?
Scale-Master Posted December 27, 2012 Author Posted December 27, 2012 The chrome is BMF. The tough part was polishing the black where the foil should go before application without polishing parts of the body that should be flat/satin black. So there is a texture I'd rather not have in the chrome in return for the black areas being a uniform sheen. Maybe a larger scale would be easier to pull off that technique on?

Art Laski Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Nice little build, Mark! I love the graphics on it.
CAL Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 kool model. I with they would do a 24 scale plastic kit. The only car to take down Audi in a decade.
