Question on the Revell Roth 56 Ford PU

Hi there and Happy New Year!!!!

I have been working on the Revell 56 Ford PU (Roth Version).... nice kit and coming along very well if I do say so....

Just wondered if anyone has any ideas about the opening doors.... typical sag and drop issues... I am considering cementing them in place....

Any ideas or examples of what you all have done would be appreciated....

If it were me Bill, I would just make some new hinges for it out of either brass rod or metal wire. Kit hinges always have a lot of slop to them.

Thanks Roger.... I may do that... the interior (with a little work) is probably worth having the doors be able to open... I have a great set of photo etch hinges but they are more or less for 30's and 40's cars vs the 56 PU.....
