Lyle Willits Posted September 10, 2007 Posted September 10, 2007 Just wanted to show the Buick side spear from Replicas & Miniatures Co. of Maryland. It is one piece (for each side, of course) thin, in scale and correctly detailed as you would expect from anything mastered by Rik Hoving. After it is glued in place, using CA glue sparingly, the separation lines can be cut in for the door openings. Next Sat. is the 19th birthday of the Maryland Automotive Modellers Assoc. and to the best of my knowledge, no one has ever built the MAMA logo car. So I am !!!
oldcars Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 This is one Merc I'm going to keep a close eye on.

Lyle Willits Posted September 12, 2007 Author Posted September 12, 2007 Hey Lyle got the side trim too are those the wheels from Norm too got them too what color ya going?? Wheel covers are '58 Caddy from SJS,,,the same ones you are using. I carefully ground down the center "hat" and added a chrome bullet. I got several wheels from Steve many years ago. Glad that I did. The colors are in my avatar. Remember, this is the MAMA logo car.
Tom Kren Posted September 12, 2007 Posted September 12, 2007 Hey wow they are! I only have one set also i see the club merc
