Mad Max Interceptor Build

I am looking to build an Interceptor model kit, but don't want to pay the big $$ to buy the kit. So, I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to what model(s) that I could use to kit bash and fabricate the model? I was comparing an ealry 70's Tonrino to the 73 Falcon bosy, but the style lines along the side are different.

Try my friend Jim at www.jimnohio.com. He gets some interesting pieces in and may be able to find - or hold - one for you. Kits are pretty darn cheap. I think the most I've ever paid is about $22.
