kilrathy10 Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 I'm setting this trailer up for a friend and am posting it to show how I accomplish a nice curbside race trailer....I hope this helps anyone build one on their own...It is of a 53' long version in 1/25 - 1/24 scale....Roughly 26 1/2" long and 6" high and 4" wide....
Modelsbyroni Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 great. how thick is the sheets of styrene.
ewaskew Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 Looks good JT Look forward to getting it,I'm thinking of doing a mock up of it and using it to show my air line kits off. I will still be using your rig and Duane's rig also to advertize them. I'm thinking this one needs a big black custom painted trailer behind it. And you can go ahead and get some more of these made up for me AT LEAST 3 the same way when you get the chance and we'll work the detail's out over the phone. Again thank you very much. God bless you and yours Earl
kilrathy10 Posted January 20, 2013 Author Posted January 20, 2013 great. how thick is the sheets of styrene. I use .060" sheets, but you can go thinner or thicker, but this thickness seems just right...Go to a plastics supply place and you can pick up a 4' x 8' for about $20...A serious deal....Gonna pick some more up, this week....
clavender17 Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 My gosh 4 foot by 8 foot sheets ??? Id be in for a sheet of that !!! Is there a website for this place ?
