amt "millenium" kits what's so special?

Like the title states what is or was so special about the amt millenium kits I came across the gt fox mustang I see no difference between it and the regular amt kits unless the difference was on or in the decal sheet? I see no difference on the instruction sheet or the parts layout maybe it was a limited run re issue?? Any input is aWsome

As far as I know they were just a few selected old kits reissued during the year 2000. I was real glag to see the 39 / 40 Ford sedan at that time.

There was 20 kits in the series if I remember right.
