highway Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 If you just need some for a build, check out P&P Resinworks. Eric makes these Vortex aircleaners Here is a link to their homepage: http://www.ppvintagekits.com/index.html Click on the resin price list.
raildogg Posted April 6, 2013 Author Posted April 6, 2013 (edited) Need the real thing. Real measurements and reference photos will definitely help. Will make scale drawings from the 1:1 prototype. I guess cans from any truck will do, I'd think that they are all generally the same, such as 15" dia. and maybe 24-30" in. length. I'd like to know where in screened parts are located if any and how wide they are along the length of the can, like three in. or six in. Also the diameter of the duct work entering the can from the engine compartment is critical to my need. Edited April 6, 2013 by raildogg
cappy625 Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 i'll take some pictures and measurments of the mack RB since there the only ones in the fleet with external air breathers we have left.i'll do this on monday when i go in.
