Did a slight mock up to get some ideas. Not shure if im going rat rod with this one or not...... I might do a salt flat rod or a candy paint street rod lol any and all comments are welcome as alway!!!!

I have to cut the fire wall down and open it up to clear the bellhousing and do a lil fill on the roof. I had to lenghting the roof to get it to look right. Then out comes the putty!!!!!!

The engine is from the AMT Double dragster kit and I used the tranny out of the Ed Roth 58 ford F100 kit

I started by radiusing out the firewall to clear the bell housing. Since i am lowering the body down over the frame. Then i cut 3/8 of a inch off the bottom of the door panels. Then i did a fast mock up to see if it all works and looks good. I also cut the rear of the interior tub off. The piece i had just cut off i moved it to the front side of the rear wall and glued it into place. Then i started with the body filler, and we ALL know how that goes....fill, sand, repeat, fill, sand, repeat, fill sand repeat. LOL.

Hope i didn't miss anything. Please feel free to comment and ask questions as always. So i am off for now to continue working on my projects (with my little man who is 2) after i clean up my bench.

Hey man, that is looking great. I'd love to see you make an in depth post on how to chop the top. I'm working on a '32 myself, and I think I definitely need to chop. Gotta find me some big 'n little whitewalls too.
