Hey all! Flea markets are my main source of materials that i use. Here's an example. I've been buying these cheap robot toys, and from these two red ones i made one Big Daddy Mecha (i love Bioshock games) and one Soviet Mecha. One might think that making stuff from toys is easy and simple but not so. First i have to take them apart and then i have to use lots of sandpaper and files to make the surface good enough for painting. But it's good fun, otherwise i wouldn't do it. I also use paint.net photo manipulation.

Nice work. If you didn't show the toy, I would've assumed it was a kit. I build alot of custom toys, too. Its like modeling with things never meant to be taken apart.
