jaydar Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 I have read many articles the intent of which was to describe a faster way to build. Some of those articles advocate leaving parts on the sprue to make spraying easier. My question is what happens to the connection point when you remove the sprue??? You have to touch up right? How does this save time? Plus you usually use a brush to touch up so how does it look? As you can probably tell I don't do it that way, but if you can convince me it is quicker, I would give it a go. Thanks, Joe.
jaydar Posted April 23, 2013 Author Posted April 23, 2013 Thanks KC, i remove all the mold lines and sand/polish most all parts before painting so i can rarely take advantage of this method even for Tamiya-quality kits. joe.
