Checkout diecastdeluxe.com there 1/18th scale but they'll suffice for most purposes, although I don't think. They are photo etch, but they do look very in scale, and realistic.

Diecastdeluxe only has the lanyards and Pro-tech doesn't have anything for me.

You can make simple pins by taking paper clips and straightening them out, then using a small drill bit and pliers, bend the paper clip so that it has the circle where the drill bit was and then is flat. I can show you a picture if you would like, if you don't understand
