Does anybody remember the tires that where possibly the best BFG's made and does anyone make them

You might check with Chief Joseph http://www.fireballmodels.info/fmr-021-24.htm. I haven't seen his tires in person, but from what I see in the pics compared to the Radial T/As in the kits and to the 1:1 radial T/As that we sell at the shop I work at, his look spot on.

MPC made the BF Goodrich tires in two sizes. One for full size models and one for compacts.

Arii/Otaki had killer BFGs in their old big n little wheel and tire sets, but you really need to find two sets because the bigs are crazy big, like Street Freak big, and they were 24th scale which made it even worse. Two sets of fronts on Monogram 24th scale muscle cars was the hotness back in the day...

that is the ones killer big but make great tires for custom vans
