michael1969 Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 I can be a 'voice of experience'. I am 43 now. My first heart attack or heart attacks was in 2003. I was 34 years old. That got me an ICD, implanted cardiac device. If I recall I lost 30% of my heart function, that part just doesn't work anymore. Then in 2007, fainted in the kitchen.....that got me a triple bypass at 37 years. I guess my point would be, Things like this can happen at any time. Somebody said earlier, 'look in the mirror'. Take a look at your parents as well. My heart disease is hereditary, mom had heart attacks and dad had strokes. If I had it to do all over again, I would eat differently, not have smoked. Anyway, I hope we all take care of ourselves. Can't help but care for you all.
