peekay Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 Really like this one, great foil work! I have most of the X-EL reissues including this Desoto. The Modelhaus has some parts for it but not an interior. I've just ordered their 60 New Yorker Station Wagon interior and hope this can be easily modified to fit. Of course they also have perfect replacement whitewalls, molded off the originals but with white inserts - highly recommended. I have the (very similar) 59 Chrysler New Yorker on my bench right now and its getting the same polish/BMF treatment - hope it turns out as well your Desoto.

I would say the Modelhaus '59 Dodge interior would be closer to the DeSoto dash and patterns than the '60. 1960 brought an entire re-design of the interiors. Good to know about the re-pop wide whites. I too have the '59 New Yorker next in line. Please post pics of yours when it's done, I can't get enough of these things! Thanks for the kind words too.
