Ghostmech Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 ...WOW! I had previously said the 1:12 Enzo may be the best mass produced, plastic kit ever....I think this one is even better! Amazing detail and complete working metal pushrod, double wishbone suspension system much like a F1 race car. The only problem with both the Porsche (and Enzo) is having to replicate the massive use of carbon fiber. If I decide to do that, it will require several sheets of ScaleMotorSports CF decals and a load of work. I'll need the patience and skills of David Thibodeau to do it right........
krazyglu Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 I would love to see a nice build up of this kit with some picture's, it look's pretty incrediable.
Ghostmech Posted May 18, 2013 Author Posted May 18, 2013 BTW, it has a full cast metal floor pan...should make the car feel weighty and solid.
FASTBACK340 Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 Is this the one reviewed in the latest MCM with the $700+ price tag?
Ghostmech Posted May 18, 2013 Author Posted May 18, 2013 Is this the one reviewed in the latest MCM with the $700+ price tag? I haven't seen the MCM, but I supect it is....it has a list price of $723.00. I paid $294 ea plus shipping which was about $50.00
Ghostmech Posted May 18, 2013 Author Posted May 18, 2013 This will be a kool build! All I need is to get David to apply the CF....or at least channel his skills
cmfowler Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Glad to hear, I picked up the Enzo about a month and was very impresse that I put in an order for this kit, Should be able to pick it up today!
Chillyb1 Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Can we get some pictures of this? I love the 1/24 Carrera GT and have built several, with more in the stash. I'll probably never get this 1/12 scale version but would love to see what you get in the box.

cmfowler Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Picked mine up this evening and all I can say is wow. Really nice. One thing I liked is that the Photo-etch for the engine lid is pre-formed. TO me just doing a box review it is on par or better than the Enzo.
