JM485 Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Here are some pictures I took at the opening round of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Nationals. The track is Hangtown MX just outside Sacramento CA. Figured I would test out the new off-topic area and post it up for anyone interested. Enjoy! Parade lap
Austin T Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Very cool. Is there a link to the video from those GoPro's?
JM485 Posted May 20, 2013 Author Posted May 20, 2013 (edited) Very cool. Is there a link to the video from those GoPro's? I don't have one but if you go to Youtube and type in the GoPro channel, they are probably up there. Edit: I just checked and they are not up yet, but my guess is that they will be up there soon. Maybe just try searching "hangtown national 2013 gopro". Edited May 20, 2013 by JM485

Also there are some really nice action shots there.
JM485 Posted May 20, 2013 Author Posted May 20, 2013 Thanks guys, did the best I could with the very limited skill I have as a photographer. Hopefully my English teacher likes them to because they will be part of a project.
Ridge Rider Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Yea the Nationals are here. Thanks for the pics. I went to Hangtown in 2001-had a great time but was too hot-100+ I used to go to Washougal every year until they went to timed practice qualifying. They took away 2 days of racing and turned it into a 4 hour show . Still a fan, but that money now goes in my own bikes and riding trips.

I hear you on that, bikes are way too expensive to maintain now. I went there for the first time I think in 2005 and it was at least 100 degrees, I can't imagine racing for 30 min+2 laps in that heat! These guys are truly amazing. Luckily this year it was a nice 80-85 degrees.
