67-72 chevy pickup differences question

I remember awhile back someone posted some pics of the differnces in the grille opening of the 67-68 pickups I tried searching but couldnt find anything. I have the 67 grille and was wanting to see if I could get some pics of how to modify one of my 72 kits to make the grille look right thanks

Also would I need to find a 67 hood thanks

Try mounting the 67 Grill in the Custom grill. Does not matter if it is the older

version with No lights, or later one with 2 center mounted lights

It closely resembles the body work of the smaller opening, and should fill in the

area to fit the smaller 67/68 grill into the 69-72 grill opening.

I had thought of trying that too untill I got the resin conversion.

Fit is not 100%, but will do the job quickly. and is easier than trying to scratch-fill that area!!

Strip the chrome If you want before cutting;

Cut out the center of the custom grill, then Carefully file/sand/shape to fit the 67/68 grill.

You will paint this piece anyway!!, it is sheet metal not chrome!!

Weather depending, I can take a pic or 2 tomorrow showing what part I am talking about using
