17jamato Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 Has anyone used auto air colors to paint their models. how does it work? Is it easy to use?
my80malibu Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 I used it once and did have a little bit of trouble ended repainting the body twice dirt and moisture seem to really magnify
sportandmiah Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 In short, use 30-50 PSI, spray a mist coat, blow dry, mist coat, blow dry, mist coat, blow dry, mist coat, blow dry..you get the picture. Search Youtube for numerous videos on how to airbrush Autoair, Wicked, etc.
The Creative Explorer Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 I use it a lot and never use a blowdryer, carefully building up coats should be enough. The nice thing with Auto air is that when things go wrong, you rinse of the paint to the primer and can start rightaway with a clean sheet Oh, and I always mix it with reducer
