vintagestang Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 I didn't know where to put this so I'll just put it here. I need paint for the 57 Chevy I'm working on but I cannot find the color I need. This is my dads 57 Chevy in Blue Starfire. It is a Lincoln Continental color that started in 76 with a code of M5401. That code is also used for Blue Diamond Fire and Silver Blue Diamond Flare. I need a cross reference for any paint in a spray can or a color that is close to it.
ScaleDale Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 Looks like Surf Green.http://www.autocolorlibrary.com/default.aspxOr maybe Cascade Green.http://paintref.com/paintref/model/green_Chevrolet.shtmlThere were four shades of green offered by Chevrolet in 1957,Dale
vintagestang Posted July 22, 2013 Author Posted July 22, 2013 It is not Chevy color. It is a Lincoln color.
Longbox55 Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 It's a little pricey, but Touch Up direct has it in a spray can. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BD2PBMG/ref=noref?ie=UTF8&psc=1&s=automotive
