Ramfins59 Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 You could use flat, clear plastic, or, a piece of clear acetate (from the top of a box of greeting cards).
Eshaver Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 I'm big on re using the plastic from anything that's been vacuum formed as in a "CLEAR COVER from a cake . This Clear plastic HAS to be .030! Oh yeah, makes for some terrific display glass windows on dioramas too. I learned this from our own George 53 too. I know he won't put pictures of his builds up, but the guy still is onto something by re using plastic parts to scratch build stuff!
b_lever1 Posted August 8, 2013 Author Posted August 8, 2013 Thanks guys I was thinking of that but its the frame around them that has me more puzzled don't remember much on them
Fabrux Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 Depending on the size of sunroof you want, you can use the glass insert piece from an MPC Chevy pickup; they have a frame on them. I could send you one if you like.
