I've recently gotten back to a long time project and I am having some issues over the firewall/cowl panel. This particular car, a 1977 Dodge Monaco (2 door) was built on the same platform as the 1971-74 Chargers. Here's the rub- Although the AMT Charger and the MPC Monaco have the same length rockers and same size wheel wells, the Monaco's wheelbase was two inches shorter. I want to make it so the Charger chassis goes under the Monaco for details sake, but the Charger engine bay is about four or six scale inches narrower and the inner wells are different.

The question is not whether I can make it fit, but rather how do I make it fit in the Monaco, change the wells and still have it fit the chassis? OR- is there another chassis/firewall setup that would work better?

Here's a couple pictures to illustrate
