Lucas van H Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Well, good morning, Lucas, I usually sleep to 6:30 or 7, but am up at 5 to take my granddaughter to the bus stop today. A good morning to you too! At least, it means that I have more time for building
disabled modeler Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 I am very sorry to hear of your loss Carl....I have had too many taken early too buddy. Hang in there.
FullPowerGarage Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Slusher, i'm so sorry for you. He is in gods hands right now and he's propably doing his favourite stuff.
High octane Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 That's sad news Carl, very sorry to hear that as I have three long time friends who go way back to 56,50, and 40 years.
Roadrunner Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Not today, but yesterday, I discovered that I've misplaced two of my three Novus plastic polishes. I have no idea where they are at this point, and I have some paint that needs polishing. I'm not a happy pup.
LaughingIndian Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 The worst part of looking for stuff is knowing it'll be in the last place ... This is true because we usually stop looking soon after we find it
BubbaJoe Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 I am very sorry to hear about the loss of your close friend...He is with his family now.
Roadrunner Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 The worst part of looking for stuff is knowing it'll be in the last place ... This is true because we usually stop looking soon after we find it And I just know that if I go out and buy more, the lost ones will magically reappear.
Ace-Garageguy Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 (edited) Not Irked but sad. Lost a good friend i have known for 30 years...He was 49 years old. Very young....Thanks for listening guys Sorry about your friend, Carl. It sounds that, especially during all the crapp he had to go through over the years, he was lucky to have had a good friend like you. Edited March 25, 2015 by Ace-Garageguy
wayne swayze Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 My condolences to you Carl on the loss of your life-long friend. I too, have a dear friend that's nearing the end, and I've known him most my life. It's sad to get old and watch your nearest friends and family pass away... but I think that we have to be realistic and know that we all go sooner or later. Hopefully on the other side, our spirits will reconnect.

Ace-Garageguy Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 Really starting to get ass-chapped about some aspects of my current primary business relationship. Maybe time to be movin' on.
Roadrunner Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 The rain Agreed. Several very pleasant days of weather, followed by gray, windy, chilly, drizzly gloom. Great weather for doing hobby stuff though.

unclescott58 Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Basketball on TV. I'd rather be watching the Big Bang Theory. Scott
Joe Handley Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Basketball on TV. I'd rather be watching the Big Bang Theory. Scott No wonder CBS's tv schedule didn't look right for tonight!
Ramfins59 Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Yeah, I've never been a basketball fan and it really annoys me when sometimes that's all that's on...... all over the channels. I guess there must be a LOT of fans of the game out there.
High octane Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 When there's nothing really good on most channels to watch, is when I watch my recorded TV shows or pop in one of my DVD's and then make some popcorn and enjoy!

slusher Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Thanks so much for the kind words about my longtime friend. I do appreciate it very much...
Guest Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Basketball on TV. I'd rather be watching the Big Bang Theory. Scott Same thing here, but not BBT, Wheel of Fortune.
southpier Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 for what it's worth .... both amazon & netflix are about 8$ a month for their movie services. no commercials, decent variety, and you can watch a whole season of television shows in one afternoon at the bench.

Yep...I use of Amazon, Netfix and Hulu streaming all the time. If it wasn't for motorsports and the NFL and a few shows I like to see close to the original air time (like Better Call Saul), I'd get rid of cable.. Edited March 27, 2015 by Rob Hall
