Not really, good one's about $30.

The TVs are what you keep an eye on the sales for.

A lady had 2 expensive surge protectors on her Televisions and it fried both and the surge protectors...

Carl, the Goodwill store here has a huge selection of flatscreen TVs. Might be worth looking into.

Thanks Harry but no luck in my area...

Carl, are you wanting to stay with a 32 inch tv? I see that size constantly for sale at stores for well under $200 depending on brand and options. Heck, I am using one for the monitor on this laptop, since I can't see the smaller screen very well anymore.

I bought a 312T decal from Indycals serval months ago, and the first set came to me really quick, in about 15days

But when I ordered a second one 2 months ago... it never comes to me..

The seller already sent me a third one of this decal, and now another months ago...it seems that this resending decal missing again...

But during that time I received the 312 break ducts bought from Indycals...

this is really sad...

Today my wife was admitted to UPMC Hospital in Cranberry because of unexplained swelling of her legs, feet and hands, and bad joint pain.  So far tests have ruled out fluid around the heart, or in or around the lungs.  She was transferred to another UPMC location in McCandless, PA where they can do more extensive "searching" for the cause of the swelling and the joint pain.  We'll hopefully know more tomorrow.  She's not thrilled about having to stay overnight, but I told her to grin and bear it as they need to find out what is wrong.  She is 68 and is an extreme "worry-wart".

Good luck to your wife, and hopefully they'll be able to find the problem and fix it also. Hang in there Richard and stay by her side.

I really hope it's something minor Rich. I am one of those worry about everything types...

I stopped at my local Hobby Lobby yesterday to check out their "model stock: and saw that they had the Christmas trees already on display. Wow in July???

That's old hat around here. Crazy Eddie, a defunct electronics chain, did that back in 1985

Thank you all very much for your well wishes.  We're still waiting for answers from the various tests.

No place better for your wife to be right now than the hospital, surrounded by professionals who know what they're doing and will undoubtedly be able to help.

My irk today is the emission test/tax.  I am the original owner of a 2004 Dodge diesel that has tested zero or next to zero emissions.  I was just told they won't test it because it has no catalytic converter.  It never had one from the factory and still put out next to nothing emissions.  I had unkind words with the technician and plan to find someone knowledgeable with 2003/04 Cummins that run so clean catalytic converters were not necessary.  By the way, they were only required on newer models because of regulations not need.  I hate government!

Government is ok - it is the stupid clueless government that irks us, right?

That makes no sense to me. If a 2004 truck was sold with out cat. converter and they require one now, shouldn't it be grandfathered?  Or do they expect owners of ever such truck to have a cat. converter retrofitted at their own expense?  That is weird.

I took it to another station today and they knew it came without a cat and it passed fine.  They told me I should not have left the first test and called the DEQ and had the tech "educated" .  What an unnecessary pain.

Unfortunately there's no shortage of poorly-trained "techs" these days in every part of the vehicle industry. Glad you got it sorted out correctly. Yes, a real PITA to have to compensate for the incompetence of supposed "professionals".

Not really worth whining about, but hey...whining is fun, right?

First leg of flight to ATL delayed yesterday due to a group of fifty that had missed a connection somewhere or some such...

Second leg of the flight delayed in Denver, first at the gate for 1/2 hour and then waiting for takeoff for another 30 minutes...

Seated next to someone clearly terrified of flying...and of course, we got into some turbulence...

Got in to ATL early in the wee hours and the trains from the gate to baggage claim had already been shut down. 1.5 mile walk...

Almost all the whizzers were closed due to "repairs" or "maintenance" (which looked a lot like people standing around or leaning on walls, looking at their phones; I guess there's an app for toilet-cleaning)...

Finally found an open whizzer ("family" one-holer). This is in America's BUSIEST airport. 10 people in line. I figured I'd be standing in a puddle by the time I got in. Happily I wasn't...just barely...

Got a no-English cabbie from the dark-continent into whose NAV-app I had to input the destination FOR HIM. Nice guy, smiled a lot, but liked to run at around 85MPH (which in itself doesn't bother me) but one wheel bearing was singing so loud I'm kinda surprised it held out all the way home...

The NAV-app was pretty low-end, incomplete info as to lanes, etc. so I had to watch his moving-map screen and constantly correct his driving directions, as he obviously couldn't READ the signs on the road either...and he was a little shaky on what the words "left" and right" meant...

Got to my door at around 4 this AM and kissed the ground.  ;)
