REDNECK7109 Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 The OTR Barbie Mobile! Good job, Marshall. Took the words right out of my mouth... good clean build though dude
Custom Hearse Posted November 2, 2013 Author Posted November 2, 2013 Its all good my friend. Just like to attempt to stir the pot a bit in a fun and slightly psychotic way every once in a while... Comes with the job I suppose. Lighten up, live, and be thankful for each day. The alternative really sucks. It is a shame AMT blew this kit so bad based on what I have read here and heard. Thanks for sharing and posting. So what is next on the bench? I know what you mean Jesse. Gotta have a few laughs when you can. I appreciate the humor, it makes my day brighter. Thanks!!! As for what's next, I'm not sure yet. I have about 100 million projects that I've started and haven't finished. I will probably work on santa's 1/16 monster truck... Took the words right out of my mouth... good clean build though dude Thank you Bobby!
Custom Hearse Posted November 5, 2013 Author Posted November 5, 2013 Thank you Bob! Yup... The T600... I wish Round 2 find the mold and update it to a T660. That might be worth having to build!
Custom Hearse Posted November 8, 2013 Author Posted November 8, 2013 nice pink kw Thanks Craig! I like your avatar. That is cool!
highway Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 I think it needs some chrome to offset all that pink. Chrome visor, chrome mirrors, chrome window surrounds and wipers, etc. And I would have gone the opposite on the color... the darker "heavier" color on the frame and bottom part and the lighter color on the upper parts. (you did ask what we think... ) I thought so too Harry, but she wanted it to be as close to her real truck. She told me didn't want a lot of chrome. I thought about the color being reversed as well, but she likes hot pink more, and I couldn't think of a design that would look good, and still have the max amount of her favorite color. And yes I did ask for your opinions on it, and I really appreciate all the replies! Thank you Harry!!! HMMMMMM, with Harry wanting more chrome, I'm beginning to think maybe he might be a chicken hauler at heart!! On the colors Marshall, I don't know what paints you used (spray or airbush) but a suggestion to put in the ole mental file cabinet would be lighten or darken the one color to make a slightly contrasting color. This is just my personal taste, but I prefer darker frames than the truck, so maybe a couple drops of a dark red or black (I'm far from an expert in paint mixing ), just something to darken up the main pink, may have worked out. Sooooooooooooooo, what are you going to build me for my birthday!?!?!?
Custom Hearse Posted November 20, 2013 Author Posted November 20, 2013 It t'was a rattle can... I couldn't find a slightly lighter color pink, except for the one I used(which was a whole lot lighter). As for Harry, I would love to see him build a truck. I think he could build something that would amaze. Hmmm... When's your birthday?

Now will he take the challenge??? It's Feb 4, so you have a few months, just remember I like rooster cruisers!! (By the way, borrowing internet from a shipper in Buffalo NY right now.)
Custom Hearse Posted November 22, 2013 Author Posted November 22, 2013 I can build you a rooster cruiser, but I don't know if it would be finished by February 4th... Chasing those roosters and pulling off their feathers is hard work!!!
