Roadkill2525 Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 Being built along side the Gelgoog Jager is the Kampfer. Its a high speed, heavily armed, lightly armored mobile suit designed for hit-and-run attacks on EFSF patrols and shipping, after the One Year War it becomes a choice mobile suit for former Zeon troops that have turned to piracy. Color will be Model Master Dunkelblau RLM 24 and I'll MV Lenses to the bazooka's scope cameras.
Roadkill2525 Posted January 13, 2014 Author Posted January 13, 2014 An overdue update, Kampfer itself is almost ready for primer while still chipping away at the weapons.
Roadkill2525 Posted January 16, 2014 Author Posted January 16, 2014 Working on the weapons; 2x 192mm shotguns, 2x 360mm bazookas and 2x sturmfausts. I'll add MV Lenses to the sights on the bazookas and replace some missing details.
Roadkill2525 Posted January 23, 2014 Author Posted January 23, 2014 Added .04 half round styrene to the shoulders replacing the thinner molded details. Thinned the thruster bells and added tube to replace the broken mounting pins.
Zarana-X Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 Cool work. I never got into Gundams because I only ever saw the original movie in Japanese, which is still confusing. The kits weren't readily availabe in the US back the. I do like the look of the older mechs vs. the newer ones, though.
Roadkill2525 Posted January 30, 2014 Author Posted January 30, 2014 Picked up some more MV Lenses, these are for the sights on the bazookas. Removed the molded in thruster from the back of the thigh. New thruster bells from my salvaged/scavenged Rick Dom II kit with thinned Evergreen tube.
Roadkill2525 Posted February 5, 2014 Author Posted February 5, 2014 Sturmfausts filled with Milliput and tube ends drilled out, warhead will be painted red. Bazookas detailed with thruster bell from scavenged Rick Dom II kit at back and thinned .25 Evergreen tube at the front.
Roadkill2525 Posted February 27, 2014 Author Posted February 27, 2014 Still have a few parts left to go before primer and paint.
