1/16 Mustang body painted for work

Our Auto Tech at work built a display to show off remote starter features and operation to clients and used an RC Mustang. It is a really cool display but I thought it would be better if we threw a little branding on it. Basically an excuse for me to start another painting project (which I probably didn't really need). I took the body apart and went to work turning it into a Geek Squad Mustang.

The yellow had to go! First step was to sand it down, primer, and a couple coats of orange!

I printed a sheet of Geek Squad decals. These are on clear decal film. Made a bunch of sizes in case I get the itch for a Geekmobile in another scale!

I used another printout on regular paper to make paint masks.

ready for some white.

A little brush painting to bring out some details, glued the lights back in, and popped in the window.

And of course a custom license plate!

Here she is on display. the fog lights flash when activating some functions and the rear tires spin when the remote start is activated.
