S. Svendsen Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 Here's a few more 70 Buicks that I have under construction on my bench. I broke open a 71 Pontiac Bonneville kit and was using that to build a convertible when I realized the optional pickup parts included in that kit would work on this kit too. The body lines for the roof and the wheelbase for the bed match up almost perfect. Besides the box art model I built, I recently finished a low rider and I also have a demo derby car almost finished. The one with the hood scoop will be a pro-touring car which will make an even half dozen.
Guest rick r Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 GREAT IDEA!!! ...used to see a ton of projects like these from an amazing variety of cars, people's take on the lesser, 'pedestrian' subjects. With the new trends/paints/styles/aftermarket stuff it'll be fun to watch your progress.
rollinoldskoo Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 i love that "el camino" style... i also agree that it would look a lot better than the pontiac version.... i need to get my hands on one of them buicks....
