With my job driving a truck OTR it becomes a bit of a challenge to find the time to get any bench time anymore. Over the past couple of months I have been able to make small steps with my latest project which is actually another rebuild of a build that I did back in the late 90's and then rebuilt it back in the late 2000's. Each time I was not happy with the final results so here we go again.

The basic construction of the model from the last rebuild is staying intact with the most changes to the exterior. I also never documented any pictures of the chassis, engine, etc. before assembly last time so while it was apart this time I shot some pics. to show off what's underneath.

So I developed an idea in my head of what I wanted to change the paint scheme to, which will also flow over to a chopped A100 drag truck and a 45 foot Galaxie fifth wheel trailer. Shown below is a picture of what the second rebuild looked like along with the drag truck and trailer which are still to this day sitting in what was the first build paint scheme.

After establishing in my head what I wanted I went about finding the images and graphics online that I could alter and resize and

transfer onto decal film using my PC printer. I went with a red, white and blue and military (Army Racing) scheme. If you see wrinkles in the graphics in the pics. it is because the decal setting solution is still working. The finished product will be as smooth as possible. There is still plenty of work to go on finishing this rebuild but it is at least at the stage where I can show some pics. for everyone to see where I'm headed.

NICE!!!!!!!!!!!

The first build of the A100 looks to have a Mopar 273 in it from the actual kit thats had some "bling" added to it.....

The dualie wheels give it a whole other look tho.... what ya use for a rear in it? Difficultto see with the mufflers on the under side view!
