I received a lightning parts truck in trade......

so i broke out my f150 "shortbox" to see what i needed (mirrors, fronts clear headlamp lenses, a fuel tank, svt rims,) decals as well and i can rebuild a "lightning" gen 1 truck the interesting thing is..... i thought lightning trucks were 8' bed full box trucks? the regular f150 "shortbed" truck is the exact same bed and size as the lightning! i actually need to remove all the mouldings on the sides of the lightning to actually make it a legit lightning..... the shortbed truck is a great kit tho has awsome custom parts and a "fishnet" air tailgate

nice running boards and ground effects

will see where these trucks go from here

I always liked those AMT trucks from the 90's. Great kits to built many different styles of trucks. I always wondered why they got a bad rap. I have a set of factory lightning wheels for that kit if you need some Danny. Just let me know.
