Here's my 23 Ford made mostly from Brass. The only part that's plastic is the body.

If you look closely, you can see the shifting and clutch linkage and brakes.

It also has working U joints.

Here are many of the hand-made brass parts that went into the model.

If you look closely, you'll see the detailed brake shoes and springs.

Here's a picture of the working suspension and steering.

If you look closely, you'll see the thermometer on top of the radiator.

Great craftsmanship. Any tips on how to turn brass in the lathe? I've done aluminum for a while but my first attempt at brass was not exactly the best.

High speed and carbon tipped tools work the best. Other than that, just try different things to see what works best for you.

I also polish the parts on the lathe when I can.
