o-man Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=37105 http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=26727 And this version of search as I've learned is your best friend for getting a lot of questions answered, http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=79627 I have used The Detailer and it works pretty good. I usually build imports so most of their grilles are black.
my80malibu Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 I like to use this Model Master black gloss, or semi. Thinned to a water color consistency, then with a medium bristled brush, apply to one side of the grille, let it flow naturally to the areas that are in tight places. If it gets out of hand, let it dry then clean it up using a brush with clean thinner.
