Austin T Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 He I recently picked up the BMW M1 Pro Car by Esci/ertl and I'm still trying to figure out what to do with it. I know that Renaissance does some but they are sky high in prices, over 40 bucks for a decal sheet, ouch! Anyone know of a kit with these wheels in it or an aftermarket guy that makes 'em?
om617 Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 I know Studio 27 does some decals for the M1. Hobbylink Japan had some for 12-15$ last time i did see them. For wheels maby Scaleproduction.de have some. Those wheelcaps on the pic are rare.
Austin T Posted February 10, 2014 Author Posted February 10, 2014 Good news I was looking through my parts box today and found a set of rims very similar to the ones in the picture off of a monogram 635CSi kit I got. I think I might cast me an extra set for other beamer projects.
kitbash1 Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Scale Productions does a PE and turned aluminum set for this kit. They also had decals for it as well. The kit I have came with BASF decals, and I got the Lauda Marlboro decals along with the upgrade set. I've seen these sets on ebay, so they are still out thee if you look for them.
