steven Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 Hi everyone. I am building the Revell Peterbilt 359 kit and I have A few questions . The sleeper steps look kinda odd out of scale "thick" Did some of The real trucks have steps similar to these ? Are the ones in the ertl 359 kit accurate ? I looked in some of my referance books and some of the trucks of that vintage had no step . You would think it would make it kinda hard to enter the sleeper from the outside . hmm Any help would be appreciated Steve
Semi Trailer Mechanic Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 What's goin' on... I have yet to see steps like these on a 1:1 359's bunk but that's not saying they weren't there. The steps in the AMT/ERTL 359 are close. The steps in the R/G 359 kit are much more accurate. Good Luck
mackinac359 Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 I think the steps are supposed to look like these: (Robby Gaines photo). The kit steps are a bit thick. Tim
