Finally done. At least until I think of something else to do it later on down the road, but I am ready for something new to work on.

Revell 1964 Chevy truck kit for the cab, AMT ALF Pumper for the chassis and wheels. Everything else is scratch built, resin, left over photo etch and this and thats. Decals are custom made by Die Cast and Decals.

While the decals are for my department, the truck is fictional. Sort of a what if we had a Engine 2 in 1965. Which is also the idea behind the truck. Sort of a homemade fire truck built in the station by volunteers in the evenings after work, built with what ever donations or parts they could get. Since they are not professional fire truck builders, it turns out nice but has it's little imperfections here and there that give it it's character.

That is one nice looking build indeed. Your talents are amazing. Engine compartment upper rad hose?

Can't wait to see more of your work.

Thanks.

Yea Bubba forgot where he put the other night after doing some engine work. Got one on order at NAPA though, should be here in 4 - 6 weeks.

Nice job! I've never seen a '65 Chevy truck with front fenders like that. Is that some sort of custom modification?

You could call it that, more of a thats how they turned out and would have messed things up trying to fix them.
