Kyle Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 Here is a 2006 Viper SRT 10 that I have been working on. I'm going to make it into a drift car. I'll add a full roll cage, custom decals, spoiler, custom intake, nitrous, pegasus rims and a fire supression system (anything I missed?). This is the engine so far. I added ignition wiring, fuel rails and injectors, throttle linkage, a turned aluminum oil filter and pulleys. I used a detail master electric fan and rad support. I also turned a brake booster and added some lines to the engine bay. Thanks for looking.
rollinoldskoo Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 wow...... those turned parts really sets this build off.....
Kyle Posted December 17, 2007 Author Posted December 17, 2007 Thanks. Does anyone have any ideas for sponsor decals?. I was thinking SRT, Mopar, Sparko, Brembo, and BF Goodrich. Any other ideas?
Kyle Posted December 21, 2007 Author Posted December 21, 2007 I got a little more done on the viper this week. I put together a roll cage (still might add the overhead bars), turned a fire bottle and nitrous tank, completed the dash, seat and finished some engine wiring and plumbing. Thanks for looking. crispy Posted December 21, 2007 Posted December 21, 2007 Wow, coming together nicely! Looking forward to seeing the completed car.
Kyle Posted December 21, 2007 Author Posted December 21, 2007 Thanks, It should be done soon, I just need to paint the body and wait for some decals. I also have to get the wheels on and make a valve for the nitrous tank.
MoparMarc Posted December 22, 2007 Posted December 22, 2007 Looking good. In the drift leagues last year the winning driver was using a Viper. I looked and I could only find one picture of it on my hard drive, I'll look for some more tomorrow if you are interested. Same driver this year is running a 07 Charger SRT8 and his teammate is driving a green Viper but I don't have any pics of the green one.........yet.
Kyle Posted December 23, 2007 Author Posted December 23, 2007 Thanks. Mine will have similar decals to this one, but it will be a solid green colour. http://www.benlevy.com/4images/img357.htm
