lowriderphil Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 been messin with the caddy this morning, I'm calling it "weekend warrior" nothing to crazy, just some skinny slicks, and a montser under the hood. Been joking around with a few friends about putting the dominos logo on the quarter panel and have it say "10 seconds or its free"
82notch Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 Very cool. We had a caddy just like that at the Pinks All out here in Michigan. It went 9.90's
rollinoldskoo Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 whatever floats your boat i guess....
lowriderphil Posted December 16, 2007 Author Posted December 16, 2007 whatever floats your boat i guess.... yeah, I've done a few lowrider caddys but this is an idea thats always been in the back of my mind
Robert81 Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 I like it. You should call it "Dominator's Pizza". You may want to add some N.O.S. to that big boy.
Custom Hearse Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 Who makes that Cadillac? I'd like to get one for the front and rear clips....
bobss396 Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Nice engine detail, is that a resin product or from a kit? I also concur with the Dominator Pizza theme. Bob
lowriderphil Posted July 15, 2008 Author Posted July 15, 2008 been a long time since I touched this one, the original engine was out a diecast but I tossed it in favor of this nice 530ci. I cant decide yet between air cleaners though, and still working out a color idea, but leaning towards the metalspeks smoke gray with a white top. air cleaner 1 air cleaner 2 let me know whats up
Robert81 Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 It has been a long time, But not as long as some of my projects. What happened to the dual dominators? If you as staying with the single 4 barrel, I would go with Air cleaner #1. Unless you need the ground clearance, for headers, lower that nose for a good rake.
lowriderphil Posted July 15, 2008 Author Posted July 15, 2008 took off the dual carb high rise and stuck it on a 70 monte carlo 454 engine, but I haven't decided what to use it in. I still have to look over the front suspension, I know I can get the tires lower but I'm not sure how far before the a-arms rub, also the back will sit about 1/8" higher, haven't installed the springs yet
lowriderphil Posted July 16, 2008 Author Posted July 16, 2008 got some paint on today, medium silver charcoal, don't know if I like the front end down or up. When down there's about 3 scale inches of clearance under the front bumper. phil
Robert81 Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 That is a tough one, Phil. The second pic looks good, in the way of stance, but the wheels look too small. The first pic looks good with the wheel gap, but the rear end looks too high. It's too bad the dual dominators, have gone to another build. They where perfect for the "Dominator's Pizza" drag Caddy and, IMO, would suit the motor better.
lowriderphil Posted July 16, 2008 Author Posted July 16, 2008 little bit better lighting, I also brought the rear down a bit. phil
lowriderphil Posted July 19, 2008 Author Posted July 19, 2008 new color, had issues with how the last color came out so I changed it up phil
