I Cant Identify This Car!

Hello all! My brother pick up cars at a swap meet w/out boxes so I'm in question to this car. I think its a plymouth; maybe a ford and im not sure of the year. Any comments is always welcome. Thank you in advance.

it's an AMT 1941 Plymouth coupe. one of the few good things done at AMT during the "Matchbox" era; it looks like somebody was in the process of doing opening doors for it. i wish it would be reissued.... it's a good kit IMHO.

AMT 41 Plymouth. Looks like someone hacked out the doors and trunk...didn't come that way.

Just wanted to say thanks for the fast feedback. My next question- ( here we go) Haha. Well ive seen alot of 40's and 50' gettin chopped up on the forum mostly 49' merc's. Would this car seem out of place with modifications done to it. I want to chop the top on this one and make it custom. Any ideas or builds of this car would be great references for me. Im always up for suggestions; advice or any comments. Thank you again for your time.

Hello all! Senor R. Perez; helped to decide what top i would go for the 41Plymouth. I got it from www.carnut.com

My main target was to make the roof seem short or not even up with the windshield. This is more or less where im going.
