All one needs is a set of scale drawings.............171 mph :o. Killed when hit w/chain, car burned and was buryed where it came to rest until dug back up and restored, what a story..........I would be afraid there might be a haunt in that thar thing?

But is a bad set of wheels.........Liberty Aero Engine.......Brit car and driver.......American design engine......Jenny comes to mind.

OK Frank, chim in on this.....you got any ideas as what to use for this one.........?

27 Liters-the torque going through chains.

Strap on your big ones to sit behind and next to that.

Yea, read what that torque from chain did when it flew off and hit him in the head! I have to admit, mine are not BIG enough for this ride?

100 mph, face in the wind behind the wheel of a Loco Mobile or Alco............. ..............maybe w/enough liquid back bone.

171mph............... ..................nuts, as the General said.

But it is a bad set of wheels, and I would love to see Frank turn one out.

1905 FIAT w/AERO engine, I am a big FIAT fan and here is one that I am looking @ materials to build in 1/8th scale........of course I will need to break out the drafting tools and draw up a set of plans........I do believe it is doable........I believe! ;)

Of course Pocher parts such as 2 complete Fiat frames, a set of the chains and sprockets, Alfa wheels/tires......balance scratch built.

Use alum. sheet left in natural finish f/hood. I believe the travel trunk is not apart of the car, the article read about the guys attempting to run the car @ speed and they traveled to do this. Engine produces 300 hp.

I spent 14 years working on Tanks.........if I never see another will be too soon for me, but yea the car is way cool and I have seen clips of Jay Leno driving it, I remember him saying you had to plan your turn before executing it.

My fav of Jay's cars is the Stanley Steamer, doing 60 mph.........way, way bad to me. And I remember him talking about a bike he has that the engine is a turbine deal out of a helo.........car was too close behind him @ a red light, the heat off of the exhaust was soooo hot, it melted the bumper on the guys car! :o
