Been working my rear end off to get this one finished!!! There are so many mods to this bike that I just can't type 'em all, but......I reworked the frame....the front was chopped down, and re raked, the rear had the dip taken out. I scratch built the oil tank to fit the new frame mods with 13 pieces, thus the lucky #13!!! I used a white metal springer I had lying around, and whacked the tank in all directions. I made tons of bolt heads using everything from different sized straight pins, to small nails!! Besides the paint choices, I also added a little military to it too, and the one neat little scratch built item was the shift knob grenade in 1/12 scale!!! Feast your eyes & criticize!!!

This was a big help with making the shift knob, and a 1/12 scale ruler!!!

John,

That is just too cool!!! I really like the way the whole thing comes together, mixing old and new components.

The hand grenade is an excellent addition to the WWII theme!! Nothing says suicide shift like a live hand grenade with an accessible pin!! :(B);)

WOW! That looks awesome!

I love the old/new styling. The hand grenade was a great choice too.

Where did you get the springer front end?

"Feast your eyes and criticize" :) Thats a great line!

Whats to criticize? Its a great looking bike, with a well thought out scheme. I love it!

My hand grenade wasn't as technically correct as yours...
