D. Battista Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 Hello everyone, This is a Revell kit, built box stock...I saw this paint scheme on a subscription card for a 1:1 magazine. On a late model Camaro. Thought it would be fun to try on a scale model. Hand masked graphics sprayed with de-canted Tamiya rattle can paint, through an airbrush. Hand lettered detail : engine, tires, under hood logo. Sorry for the old stuff..!
D. Battista Posted March 23, 2014 Author Posted March 23, 2014 Some more pics...... Thanks for looking..!
D. Battista Posted March 23, 2014 Author Posted March 23, 2014 A few more..... Hope you enjoy....Thank You..!
PappyD340 Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 No need to apologize Dave, it's new to us we ain't seen it before, and I think it looks great especially the paint job!!
D. Battista Posted March 24, 2014 Author Posted March 24, 2014 Thanks a lot Larry and Chris... and Ray, it was very tedious.. after I cut the mask, i applied it to the car one row at a time, applying every piece to keep them lined up good, then removed the squares to be black. then I sprayed the whole car black. From laying and cutting out the mask ...and application...paint... and mask removal...was about 14 hours...
slusher Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Beautiful model Dave and amazing paint and detail. I never tire of seeing models.
