1965 Valiant ("4.2 Litre Le Puissance")

1965 Valiant 2 door coupe .

I was sitting in the outside of Portfolio Coffeehouse in Long Beach (Ca.) on an unseasonablly-cool night in May 2000 , when this '65 Valiant pulled-up to the curb on Junipero . The salty , slightly-foggy air made the car's tail lamps appear as though they were projecting-from their housings ; I just had to draw a picture of it !

To add some more flavour to the pic , I illustrated an optial illusion ; the tree next to the curb provided the perfect opportunity for said illusion.

The drawing's title is 4.2 Litre Le Puissance .

That's very cool John, I like it, and not just because I have a '64 Valiant either. It's very 'car'toony, that's why I like it. You should go to that coffee shop often.
