Mj-Styro Posted December 31, 2007 Posted December 31, 2007 With the windshield frame gone i sat here for the last few months starying at this and trying to see what i could come up with.....well i decided not to keep it a ragtop, i wanted another fastback....... So one thing led to another and i was hacking the roof of a bad paint job from year or so ago. MK re-issue AWB mustang gave up its roof. Now on to the pics....... Thats with one coat of clear........
Mj-Styro Posted December 31, 2007 Author Posted December 31, 2007 Now with the decals on and more coats of clear, this is where i stand with it now.....
James Flowers Posted December 31, 2007 Posted December 31, 2007 Nice work and a good save. What did you use for the interior ? I went the other way and took an old hardtop and put it on the AWB Mustang body. Then used the interior from the hardtop. I wish I would have saved the fastback roof too do what you did. I did mine about 20 years ago. Post more pictures when you done with it. I see you have some more in the back ground waiting too be redone. Save all the old plastic we can as we may never see some of them again.

I went with a Resin one for the blue 66 fastback, then got to thinking and the 69 Mustang interior is pretty much the same thing........after alittle sanding on the sides cause of the width........it will work out prefect i would think........fits all most like a glove. will post more pics as i go.......
