Speedfreak Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 I just got the Tamiya 'D' weathering kit and I've read that you might want to put a sealer on after using it, to keep it from smearing? If so, should I use laquer? Thanks!
935k3 Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 testor's Metalizer sealer, Semigloss clear or Tamiya TS-79 Semi gloss clear. Better to airbrush if possible. The weathering sets are acrylic based. They do not really need sealed.
Speedfreak Posted May 8, 2014 Author Posted May 8, 2014 Thanks Dale, I didn't think so either. But, I've read where people do. The instructions don't call for any sealer and I'm just using it on headers.
